Friendship
Is now so
Public
What with
Facebook.
But all these,
Are they
Real?
How can
They be
With folks
I don't know
Seeking
To Facebook Friend
Me.
I've un-Friended
Two men,
Who were
Actively negative
Or unkind,
Deleting their
Pictures and profiles
From my sight.
All the world
Saw it, too.
What else or more
Can I do?
The alternative
Is to be daily
Reminded
Of unkindness
Or continue
A charade.
I prefer
To keep
A smaller group
Where each
Is actually
Either a friend
Or at least
A past
Or potential
Positive connection
Reflective
Of elements
Of my life.
