819. Not Going As Planned

As he feels me
Want him less
He's less willing
To pay the check
With little hope
Of payoff later
He'd rather
Go dutch
And neglect
Setting up a
Next occasion
For dinner

Am I reading that correctly, go dutch...no next occasion? Please say it ain't so!

Are you sure this gentleman is thinking payoff? Could it be he recognizes the true nature of the
relationship? You do offer to go dutch when it's clear they are not "the one" but could be a great friend, don't you? ...DON'T YOU? Do you have any culpability by dangling potential payoff when all you really want/need(and deserve) is good companionship? If yes, wouldn't that be selling yourself too cheap?

Most of the successful (in business, life, love) women I know demand to go dutch until they are sure there's a raging fire. No frogs need apply. No time for anything but princes or true friends.

Any chance you are the one that views sex as a way to pay off?
Just asking! I don't presume to know your answer to that one. I just can't help but remember the crap my sisters had to endure 40 years ago about the "politics of pussy".

Any mature ladies willing to give me an AMEN on that?
