1604. Demanding the Impossible

I wonder
If it's true
That if
He loves you
You won't
Love him too
That if your
Love is deep
He'll feel
Little to nothing
This is what
Married
Women and men
Tell me
A psychology
PhD
Echoed
The same
Refrain
I want
The impossible
True love
And sexual
Attraction
That's mutual

O no. Love is much more complicated than that! It's not yin/yang or teeter/totter. Well, it could be. But it could also be that both of you have feelings on the wane. Or you both may be increasingly crazy about each other for a period. So many factors impact this: rest, kids, other people, ghosts from the past, jobs, obligations, unfulfilled dreams.

You'd better be committed to that person, because it's really easy to find an excuse to quit.
