1955. One Tear Transcendant

I had one tear
Left for my
Husband
After all the oceans
My soul bled
For other men
I feared
He'd never find
Me
Now he
And I
Are One

Happily Married in San Francisco

(Note to readers: this was actually my first poem written since the poems I wrote in December and January - when I first met my husband. The numbers are out of order. See #1934, titled, "Better Than Expensive" for an early introduction to my husband - on one of our first dates.)
